<\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\nThe 16th<\/sup> annual Todd Summer Concert Series is set\nto begin June 15. We have an exciting lineup again this year and we hope to see\nyou at a concert. Our\naverage attendance per concert last year was approximately 300 people. However,\nit takes a lot to put on a free concert series each year both in terms of money\nand volunteers. The Todd Community Preservation Organization (TCPO) would like\nto take this opportunity to thank all of you who have contributed financially,\nas a volunteer or other supporter to make the concerts, and all TCPO\ninitiatives, a reality. <\/p>\n\n\n\n A special thanks goes out to our corporate sponsors. Without\ntheir sponsorships, we would not be able to continue the high caliber of music\nor offer the concerts for free. This year our Title Sponsor is Mountain Tile<\/strong>, located in Boone, NC. The BRNHA makes grants available every two years to\norganizations across western NC that support specific mountain heritage\nprograms, such as heritage music. You can learn more about the BRNHA and their\nimportant work here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Some of the projects supported by the grant and the contributions that the TCPO is required to contribute as a one-to-one match to grant funds include renovations of the structures in the park, grounds improvements, a new sound system, a new grill, a children\u2019s dance floor, improved access to the stage and pavilion, and Wifi. You may have already noticed some changes taking place as we\u2019re busy getting ready for the first concert.
