The 15th<\/sup> annual Todd Summer Concert series will begin a month from now and we\u2019ve got another exciting lineup of six returning bands and one new band in store for you:<\/p>\n June 16, 6-8:00 pm<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 Amantha Mill<\/strong><\/p>\n June 30, 6-8:00 pm<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 Wayne Henderson & Friends<\/strong><\/p>\n July 4, 11:30 am – 1:30 pm<\/p>\n \u00a0 T he King Bees<\/strong> (directly following Todd Liberty Parade)<\/p>\n July 14, 6-8:00 pm<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 Angela Easterling & The Beguilers<\/strong><\/p>\n July 28, 6-8:00 pm<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 Strictly Strings<\/strong><\/p>\n August 11, 6-8:00 pm<\/p>\n \u00a0\u00a0 Melissa Reaves<\/strong><\/p>\n August 18, 6-8:00 pm<\/p>\n \u00a0 The Lucky Strikes<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n To learn more about the bands and to hear a clip of their music, visit https:\/\/toddnc.org\/events-activities\/summer-concerts\/<\/a><\/p>\n If you\u2019ve never been to one of the concerts, here\u2019s what you need to know. The concerts are sponsored by the Todd Community Preservation Organization, a nonprofit that works to preserve the Todd heritage, support the Todd community and businesses and owns and maintains Cook Memorial Park and Todd Island Park. The concerts are free but we will pass the pickle jar during intermission. Contributions in any amount are welcomed to help offset the cost of the bands.<\/p>\n The concerts are family-friendly and held outside in beautiful Cook Memorial Park situated in downtown Todd, NC, next to a babbling creek and mere yards from the New River. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Large tents will be set up to protect concert goers from sun or rain. We\u2019ll fire up the grill and hamburgers, veggie burgers, hotdogs, snacks and drinks will be available for purchase – or feel free to bring your own picnic.<\/p>\n The TCPO would not be able to hold the free concerts each year without the generous support of our sponsors.
